Cagle Post: Why The Chick-fil-A Debate Matters

Chick-fil-A is a successful, family-owned American business that should be celebrated. However, the Atlanta, Georgia, based company has come under relentless attacks from the radical Left because it believes in wholesome core Christian family values. Chick-fil-A’s “corporate purpose” is: “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.”

With the Left’s current war on business, fueled by President Obama’s divisive reelection campaign rhetoric, you’d think liberals would love a corporate purpose that wants to have a “positive influence.” But to the chagrin of liberals and big city elites alike, Chick-fil-A invokes God in the foundation of their business culture. Oh, the horror!
