The Presidential Coalition, an affiliate of Citizens United, is contributing $3,000 to Republican Chris Nybo’s campaign for Illinois’ 24th State Senate District. The primary election will be held March 20th.
“Chris Nybo will fight for the pro-growth economic policies that promote job creation in Springfield,” said David N. Bossie, President of Citizens United. “The people of the 24th District deserve new representation in the Illinois Senate and Chris Nybo will provide the important leadership that is desperately needed. ”
“Nybo’s opponent, incumbent Republican Kirk Dillard, was part of President Obama’s campaign in 2008 when he participated in a television ad vouching for Obama’s fraudulent record of bipartisanship. Dillard’s lack of judgment in supporting President Obama and his Big Government agenda should be an automatic disqualifier for re-election. The people of Illinois deserve fresh leadership in the Senate, and Chris Nybo will fill that void.”
